RESERVING, GUARANTEEING AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

RESERVING and GUARANTEEING your Tours, Hotels or Rental Car.

RESERVING TOURS: You may reserve your tour by email, specifying which tours, dates and the number of Adults and Children that are to be on the tours you want. To assure the dates and space for your reservation we require that a predetermined deposit (or full payment if you prefer) be paid. We will hold your reservation for a reasonable amount of time that it takes for you to send in your deposit as guarantee.

RESERVING HOTELS or CARS etc: Depending on the Hotel or Rental Car company and on the season, this usually only requires a signed credit card authorization faxed to us as guarantee against late cancellations or "no-shows". In some cases deposits or full payments by card or other means are sometimes required. As long standing tour operators we are able by fax to temporarily reserve hotels, cars and tours operated by others, until you are able to comply with the required guarantee conditions.

GUARANTEEING TOURS: To guarantee your tour reservation with us, we usually require a deposit for 50% of the total tour price. Payment of the deposit is accepted with Credit Cards or with US$ checks payable on US banks, both as stated below The balance is due upon completion of the tour, payable with US$ checks on US banks or with major US$ Traveler's Cheques. If you want to use your Credit/Debit Card to pay the balance, you must pay it here on-line prior to your departure from home. During tourism's high season of December through April, full payment may be required 30 days prior to your tour dates. You will be advised of this requirement before a deposit is accepted.

After you have contacted us by email, fax, or telephone and you have decided on which tours etc you want, we will give you a final price for your tours and determine an amount of the deposit to guarantee your reservation, of which you can pay by any of the following methods:

We'll confirm your deposit by email, fax or telephone if you prefer, after we see on our bank's website that the deposit was credited to our account.

CREDIT CARD INSTRUCTONS:
Credit/Debit Cards are accepted for paying the deposit, for the total price of the tour or for the balance (prior to tour). Click on the Credit Card Images or the "Payments by Pay Pal" symbol below. A secure PayPal connection is provided. You will immediately receive from us an automated reply generated by PayPal, confirming your PayPal payment. In addition to the normal card info that is given, all users will be asked to input an email address and assign themselves a password for accessing their PayPal account in the future. PayPal does not and will not provide your email addresses to anyone whatsoever. First time users of PayPal outside of the U.S. and Canada will be required by PayPal to 'Verify' their credit card only once. This is a simple one time process involving a small charge of $1.95 being made to your card's account which will be refunded. You will then be asked to check your card's statement for a set of numbers attached to the charge listed in your card's statement. This you check either in your bank's on-line website, or when it is sent to you, or through your bank You will then respond to an email you'll receive from PayPal asking you to click on a link to a secure PayPal webpage where you'll input the numbers that were attached to the charge on your card's statement. This 'Verifies' to PayPal that your card is indeed yours. You will never have to does this again with PayPal. U.S. and most Canadian users will not have to do this card verification.

- Major Traveler's Cheques in US$, Cash US$ and US Checks are all accepted as final payment once you are in Costa Rica. Final Payment by card of a balance due is possible only on-line prior to your tour. Click on our link " Good to Know Tips on Traveling to Costa Rica".

PayPal is the Number One on-line payment method with over 20 million members worldwide. Payment is made over a secure Pay Pal connection and is a fast, safe, free and easy method to make your payment or deposit.

DEPOSIT REFUNDS: Deposits are 100% refundable if cancelled in writing by email, fax or letter with 60 days or more of notice prior to the first tour date. 50% of the deposit is refundable with 30 days or more notice prior to the first tour date. Deposits are not refundable with less than 30 days notice prior to the first tour date. 50% of Full Payments are refundable up to 7 days prior to tour date. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation in writing by email, fax or letter. We feel that our refund policy is reasonable, fair and more lenient than other tour operators. To say to others that no space is available for a certain tour or date, we need a guarantee from all of our customers.
