·   Scenic rUINS of C.R.’s  1^st permanent Church set in beautiful surroundings.

·   BASILICA OF LOS ANGELES, impressive home of C. R.’s patron saint and center of its Catholic faith, located in the provincial capital city of Cartago, the old colonial capital of C.R. with another church ruins at its center.

·   LANKESTER BOTANICAL GARDENS (optional 1 hour walk) with flowering orchids, bromeliads and many other flowering tropical plants and trees.
